This is Green Man, or that is what I have affectionately dubbed him. Each night, my neighbors place him in the middle of the road. Green Man's sworn duty is to protect their three small children from getting run over, though they play in the middle of the street. See how seriously Green Man takes his job? He never moves, he doesn't even blink! Thanks to Green Man, those energetic children can (and do) run around day and night completely unsupervised. YAY!
I wish they would have had Green Men when my kids were small. It would have saved me years of worry and constant supervison.
